Parent services offers group and 1:1 training as well as parent support groups.

What to Expect (PDF)

1:1 training is offered to parents who have specific goals in mind that they would like assistance with meeting. Parents will work closely with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) when discussing goals. A plan will then be created and the parent will be trained to implement the plan at home. Below are a list of common goals but any request is welcome.

Common Goals:

  • Increasing communication
  • Potty training
  • Increasing play skills
  • Feeding concerns
  • Decreasing Challenging Behaviors
    • Tantrums
    • Aggression
    • Self-injury

Group Parent Training

Training will be provided in a group setting, in person or through webinars. Training will be provided periodically throughout the year and past webinars may be viewed at any time. Please see below for upcoming trainings.

Parent Support Group

Parent support groups are offered during social skill group times. All parents are welcome, regardless of their child’s participation in the social skills groups. Groups are facilitated by a Family-Parent Network Specialist. See below for current support group times!

When: Wednesday’s October 17 - December 5

Times: 4:00 - 5:00 and 5:30-6:30

*The group will not meet on holidays and these dates have been excluded. The group will meet on the following dates: 10/17, 10/24, 11/7, 11/14, 11/28, 12/5
